|Born in 1951 in Aleksinac. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1975. He completed his specialization in internal medicine in 1982 and subspecialization of pulmonology in 1983. Degree of Master of Medical Sciences got in 1984. Degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences, the highest level of scientific titles, received in 1993. As the phrase social recognition within the activities of the Serbian Medical Society, he recive the title od Primarius in 1993.
He deals with emergency cardiology more than 25 years. He published over 180 research papers in the professional field of science, 86 of them were at congresses abroad.
From 1996 to 1999, he worked as Project Director in project called Gift of Life within RI to help children with severe heart defects that could not be operated in Belgrade. Three children under the age of 15 underwent surgery in the United States within the framework of this project.
After bombing of Serbia in 1999 he led the project of importing medicines from Austria – donations amounted over 1 million marks. Drugs are within 24 hours distributed throughout Serbia.
He is the holder of the badge Paul Harris Fellow since July 2009.
