Shelter for street childred

These cold December days are definitely hardest on our youngest fellow citizens, who are doomed to live outside the warmth of a home. Despite the low temperatures, expected for this time of year, we come across a very happpy group of about twenty children aged 6 to 18 who have just left the Shelter for Street Children at 7a Krfska Street. As they explained to us, considering the epidemiological situation, the Shelter is unfortunately not able to work at full capacity, and children are accepted in shifts in smaller groups.

In addition to the warm place for socializing and playing, children who visit the Shelter have the opportunity to receive clothes and basic personal hygiene items that are mostly donated to the Shelter by humane fellow citizens – which was actually the main reason our members visited
